Who we are
DentaNow operates a marketplace that connects licensed dentists, dental supply merchants, and delivery couriers in Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect in the dentist, merchant, and driver apps and how we use it. We do not sell personal data.
Dentist app — data we collect (11 types)
We collect: phone number; name; user ID; precise location (clinic / delivery address); photos or videos (profile and document images); purchase history; email address (optional); other user content (order chat, reviews); customer support messages; other financial info (wallet, credit requests); health-related images you upload as prescriptions for prescription-only products.
Merchant app — data we collect (9 types)
We collect: phone number; name; user ID; precise location (store / coverage); photos or videos; purchase / order history; email address (optional); other user content (order chat, review comments); other financial info (wallet balance and payout requests).
Driver app — data we collect (8 types)
We collect: phone number; name; user ID; precise location (including background location while an active delivery trip is assigned, so the merchant and dentist can see progress and we can complete handoff); photos or videos (delivery door photos and verification documents); email address (optional); other user content (order chat); other financial info (wallet / payout requests and COD amounts shown read-only).
Photos and uploads
Prescription images, proof-of-delivery photos, and InstaPay payment receipts are stored securely, used only to fulfil or verify the related order, and retained only as long as needed for fulfilment, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. InstaPay receipts are private to the paying dentist and authorised payment reviewers.
How we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, match nearby merchants and drivers, process orders and payments (cash on delivery and InstaPay bank transfer), send operational notifications, provide support, and meet Egyptian legal requirements. Tracking for advertising is not used (NSPrivacyTracking remains false).
Retention and deletion
Account and order records are kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as required for disputes, taxes, and security. You may request account and data deletion through the in-app account controls or the public page at /account-deletion. After verification we delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer required.
